Adsense Secret - Part 2

2. Use the Images

Using images need to be done with pre-cautions bcoz Google has some policies regarding the usage of images and this has been known as the source of many BlackHatters' downfall. Few policies you need to bear in mind, that you can place images beside the ads provided that:

a) the images are not in anyway related to the ads
b) there's a clear cut between the images and the ads

Take note that we are not "not allowed" to use any images that "suggest" clicking on the ads. So things like arrows, pointing fingers, animations of cars or characters moving towards the ads, and the like will get u flagged. But, the edge has been somewhat defined and u can push it with great success, if u do it gracefully.

For instance, a backdoor tactic u can employ to get around this issue has been to create a website "logo" that no-so-subtly features a character (ie: a dude with a baseball bat) poiting it towards the Ad Unit. Because it's incorporated within the logo, the character is now "coincidentally" holding a baseball bat and poiting horizontally directly at the ads. When used correctly, this tactic has flown under the radar indefinitely and been a successful approach for someone more than once. Remember, a gray area is never gloomy to a BlackHatter.

Another very interesting technique has been to use a random "headshot" (pix of a person's face) as the "author of the article". Make sure the image is someone that looks the part and that it has heir of professionalism to it. Credibility is required to pull this one off.

Now, the secret is to place the article "author's" image right next to ur ads (see example below). If u pull this off correctly, u will create the perception that the Ads are the expert author's "recommended resources" and visitors, naturally will freely click on them all day long. The person who give this idea has experienced tremendous success with this tactic.

Adsense Secret - Part 1

I got nothing to do .. and today is holiday .. and I feel like writing .. but dunno wat to write.. but then I came across how to increase my Adsense income, which is recently it is so bad, even the ads at my blog only showing Iklan Layanan Masyarakat .. what the heck .. it makes me look like a loser .. am I ? So .. after reviewing some articles, some e-book and some thoughts of mine .. I'd like to share few things here .. based on those things .. Some of them u may have heard about it, some of them might give you more ideas on how to generate more income, and some of them would find it as some dumbass writer trying to fill up his time by writing a shit. Whateva it is, I just don't care.

1. Design and Ads Placement. ( credit to AdSense Blackhead)

Different site will need different design and ads placement. Put it simple, every site is unique. So based on your own creativity and help of third party tool, u, yourself, or maybe someone you hire, need to determine what the best for your site.

Basic tips for you:

a) Blends your ads - make sure your ads' background colour just as your site background colour. This may confuse the visitors and unintentionly clicks on ads. But who cares, as long as you can make money.

b) Avoid the 468x60 banner size - This size is a cursed one. People will know this is for sure a goddamn ad and won't click on it. Use the 336x280 size instead. This guy (Adsense Blackhead) says the 336x280 size gives him 12 times more CTR than the cursed one. So beware guys, please don't be cursed.

c) Don't ever use image ads. Use text ads only. Why? I guess ppl dont want to clicks on images. They know it will link them to some other sites. Unless they wanna use the pix as wallpaper, then they won't bother.

d) Quickly opt-out of the "Onsite Advertiser Sign-up". Trust me.

e) For your links, use standard blue/purple colour scheme. Ppl do not see it as a link unless they are in blue/purple.

Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks Percuma Bukan Lagi Satu Skim

Mengejutkan !! Itulah pertama yang terasa bila membaca komen seorang forumer.

Pada tahun 2008, Skim Pinjaman Buku Teks Percuma akan dibatalkan. Begitulah kata Timbalan Menteri Pendidikan Datuk Noh Omar. Sebabnya?

Pak Lah, tolong jangan malukan kerajaan Malaysia. Please think before you speak. Every words from your mouth may end up be laughing stocks to not only Malaysian, but to everyone in the world. Not to mention, he has mistakenly mentioned Venezuela as New Zealand during recent event at Venezuela. Dude, dua benua berbeza. Tu la, tido lagi masa Presiden Venezuela berucap, mungkin dalam mimpi bertemu gadis New Zealand atau kawasan sewaktu dengannya seperti Australia? Who knows ..

Membazir? Islam Hadhari tidak membazir. Bermewah? Islam Hadhari hendaklah sentiasa hidup dalam kesederhanaan.

Last but not least .. undurLAH

Tun Dr Mahathir is nominated for Nobel Prize 2007

A good news comes today (or maybe few days ago but I just read it today) .. Our former premier Tun Dr Mahathir is one of the nominee for Nobel Peace Prize 2007 .. He has been nomited by few Bosnian NGOs ..

Here is the Star news about it:

PETALING JAYA: Four non-governmental organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina have nominated Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for the Nobel Peace Prize 2007.

They are the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, the Congress of Bosnik Intellectuals and two Christian organisations – the Serb Civic Council from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croat National Council.

The move to nominate the former Prime Minister was spearheaded by Dr Ejup Ganic, who was Vice-President of Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1990-96 and President of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina until March 2001.

Dr Ganic, currently the Chancellor of the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, worked closely with Dr Mahathir in the 1990s when Malaysia provided economic, political and humanitarian support to a Bosnia-Herzegovina recovering from the trauma of genocide and ethnic cleansing in the 1992-95 civil war.

Nominations to the Norwegian Nobel Committee closed on Feb 1 and this year’s list includes former US Vice-President Al Gore, Finnish peace broker Martti Ahtisaari and Chinese dissident Rebiya Kadeer.

In a nomination paper signed by Dr Ganic made available to The Star, Dr Mahathir is described as the Third World’s “most illustrious contemporary” and its “most courageous advocate.”

Dr Ganic said that Dr Mahathir had influenced the world by leaving behind lessons on how diversity could be managed, conflicts reconciled and multi ethnicity harnessed to build a vibrant economic and political system.

He also highlighted Dr Mahathir’s “Prosper Thy Neighbour” policy, his enlightened vision of Islam and his work as an ambassador of peace in Iraq-Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina, southern Thailand, Philippines and Aceh.

Dr Mahathir, 81, who retired from public office in 2003, launched the Kuala Lumpur Initiative to Criminalise War in December 2005 and chairs the Perdana Global Peace Organisation (PGPO) that was set up to implement the initiative.

PGPO’s “Expose War Crimes: Criminalise War” Conference and Exhibition begins tomorrow at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Ramadhan ini ..

Ramadhan .. datang lagi ..
Membawa seribu berkat seribu rahmat ..
Tapi aku masih aku ..
Mencari-cari sinar keimanan ..
Yang secara simboliknya adalah aku sendiri ..
Bilakah akan kuinsafi diri ini ..
Terlalu banyak noda .. terlampau penuh dosa ..
Bilakah akan kusucikan diri ini ..
Ku mengharapkan Ramadhan kali ini ..
Tapi hati ini keras ..
Keras untuk menggunakan nikmat Allah turunkan di bulan ini ..
Ku sedih ..
Ku tangisi ..
Tapi kesedihan dan tangisan ..
Tiada gunanya tanpa keazaman ..
Tanpa keyakinan kendiri untuk berubah ..
Untuk menjadi insan yg taat kepada-Nya ..
Menjadi insan yang menginsafi segala perbuatan di muka bumi-Nya ..
Agar dikemudian hari tiada dia menyesal ..
Menangisi di dalam kehangatan Jahanam ..
Tapi semalam takkan hadir ..
Jadi ..
Ikthiarlah di Ramadhan ini ..
Berimanlah kita ..

A tribute to Tun Dr Mahathir

It saddens me at how current government leaders are treating Dr Mahathir. I was not a great fan of Dr Mahathir when he assumed the country leadership way back in 1982. In fact, I was studying oversea and wondering how could such an 'ultra' person be entrusted to lead our beloved country. Indeed I was predicted 'glooms' for Malaysia. But with Allah's grace, Malaysia on the other hand propelled into greater heights & Dr Mahathir proven to be very a effective and world reknowned leader. Whenever I compared other countries & their leaders against our country with Dr Mahathir at the helm, I could not help but rejoice at how lucky we were to be given such a great leader in Dr Mahathir. Below posting best reflect how I felt for Dr. Mahathir. ( To original poster, my apology for copying your posting without prior permission, TQ)

JUSTICE said...

Mahathir, please bring back our dignity.

Coming back from my travels around the world, I can say that people everywhere, especially in Third World countries, are full of praise and admiration for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. It shocks and saddens me to see how ungrateful Malaysians are. We have with us, a national icon, a man who selflessly and tirelessly dedicated 22 years of his life to what he thought was best for this country.

Now we are tearing him apart, insulting and ridiculing him. Look at the development around us, the skyscrapers, the highways, the monorails, the LRT, the office buildings, the residential areas and the small towns mushrooming everywhere.

We are where we are today because of Tun Mahathir. Other Asian and Third World countries envy us and tells me how lucky we are to have such a brilliant and foresighted leader who cares for his people. An Indonesian man told me, ‘Orang Melayu memang mudah lupa, kalau tak bisa sama Pak Mahathir, serahkan saja pada kami!’ An American professor who met Dr M told me, ‘He is a political genius born too far ahead of his time, one of the exceptional living leaders of all time’.

Tun Mahathir instilled the most important things in all Malaysians - our national pride and confidence. He brought ‘soul’ to our country with his aggressive and dynamic leadership. He taught us never to bow to anyone and to have the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ attitude. He was very passionate about a Malaysian ‘first’ in everything from commerce to business to sports.
It was during his legacy that I (now 41) and many other Malaysians became proud to be a Malaysian. When Tun was in power, he was the pulse of the nation. Malaysia was alive. People were inspired. He was a high achiever and demanded only the best.

Yes, he was also controversial, a hard critic of Western double standards, never mincing his words. Yet, they all couldn’t help but admire and respect him. At his last Asean meeting in Jakarta, President Megawati and President Aroyyo wept, knowing the region, too, would lose a great leader.

And what is happening in our country today? He is being shot down by the very people that he brought up. What disgust me the most is that not one Malay leader has come to his defence. His former cabinet that once worshiped him has now abandoned him. Their standard reply is , ‘We gave our support to Tun as PM before and now we give our support to Pak Lah who is the PM now’.

Where is their conscience and integrity? It is scary indeed. We probably should bring back Umno veterans like Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah and Tun Musa Hitam. At least, these people still have principles.

It is so sad that Malaysians can’t value a living treasure. Is it so difficult to believe that there exist among the Malays a true patriot whose aim in life is to do what is best for his country, a Malay who is sincere and incorruptible? Look at the man himself. What has he got to achieve this late in his life now by doing what he is doing today?

A crook and a tyrant would never give up his power especially when he is at the pinnacle. If Tun had other agendas, why didn’t he remain as senior minister, or place his sons in prominent Umno positions to secure himself? At that time, those cowardly Umno members would kiss his ass for anything.

If Tun was ever corrupt or abused his powers for his own personal self, he would not even dare open the can of worms everyone is saying he now has. After 22 years, don’t you think they would have crawled out by now? Common sense tells you that if he was ever corrupt during his time, he would not dare speak out so boldly against his successor knowing full well the government of the day holds all his records.

He speaks without fear or favour against corruption and abuse of power like one completely incapable of doing it. Because he is.
Once upon a time I was proud to be a Malay and a Malaysian. Now, I bow my head in shame. Tun Mahathir, please bring back our dignity.
